Sister Team Jessica Overmier and Ruth Blair have been enjoying various crafts for many years now. Their love of crafting came from their Grandmother who never met a craft she couldn't master. One of Jessica's passions is hiking and photography, and the landscape surrounding them in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northwestern North Carolina provides ample access to that. Throughout her hikes she kept seeing barn quilts on barns, sheds, buildings and houses along the trails. After some research, Jessica learned the background to the quilts and was inspired to make her own. She and Ruth took a class in which they made their own barn quilt, and were instantly hooked. Since then they have added Barn Quilts to the many crafts of Two Crafty Ladybugs, and are now happy to share them with others.
